O.J.'s Record of Abuse The prosecution established a long pattern of domestic violence by O.J. against Nicole typical of men who have gone on to commit murder. A witness testified that Nicole Brown Simpson called woman's abuse shelter a week prior to her death. Nicole's call to 911 on New Years Day 1989 recorded O.J. striking her. The photographs of Nicole's battered face that were found in her safe deposit box after she was murdered were taken by police following the '89 New Years Day incident. Nicole's October '93 call to 911 recorded O.J. threatening her life. Prosecutors in the O.J. Simpson criminal trialĀ produced documents showing that Mark Fuhrman was sent to O.J.'s Rockingham estate on a domestic dispute call in 1985. Nicole told several people that O.J. was going to kill her. Nicole's diary documents a pattern of O.J.'s continuing violence toward her. The only person who claimed to have witnessed an incidence of O.J.'s violence toward Nicole prior to the civil trial was her sister, Denise Brown. |
