I have been thinking about partners and cars and how they went back and forth between Bundy and Rockingham. Roberts is a "special interest project".
I assume from the way it's been described that detectives drive into head quarters, change into their work vehicles, with or without homiside kit. Since they work in pairs, I assume there is one vehicle per partnership. That seemed to be what Phillips and fuhrman did, although not partners. And that Roberts picked up the fuhrman/Roberts car later.
Vanatter and Lange drove their own (?) vehicles onto the Bundy crime scene. No stopping by Parking Centre. (Do they drive around privatly with homicide kits?)
Vanatter/Lange drove in one car to Rockingham, Phillips/fuhrman drove in another.
Gonzalez/Aston followed in a black/white.
Lange was driven to Bundy by Aston, who waited for for him for 20 minutes there, before taking him back to Rockingham.(testimony) Why?
Lange left again(??) for Bundy in own vehicle.
Phillips and fuhrman drove to Bundy to check out the glove. Pointing to glove picture allegedly taken.
Fuhrman returned alone (in Phillip's vehicle?)
Rokhar arrived at Rockingham in own vehicle.
Roberts arrived at Rockingham (in fuhrman/Roberts vehicle).
Fung and Mazzola arrived in own van.
Vanatter left to get search warrant in own vehicle.
Lots of comings an goings, explains the activity on the cell phone records that were mostly blacked out.
The one that I do not think happened is fuhrman's alleged trip back to compare gloves. I think Lange did that on his return trip with Aston.
Fuhrman's trip was made up to support the change of time of the pointing at the glove photograph.
If fuhrman went back with Phillips in his car why didn't he go back with Roberts, who came to Rockingham about the same time as fuhrman did.
