Jasper, Each time I have referred to MF being Nicole's cop in the Heidi deal I meant that he was the OFFICIAL cop assigned to her.
Women who were involved with Heidi and have written about it say they were each ASSIGNED a cop who escorted them around and their jobs besides looking out for them was some kind of undercover deal where they were to gather info on the clients, etc. However, nobody ever seemed to get arrested. The info was just gathered --perhaps for some future purpose.
I would remind you that the guy named Sabastian who was involved in the LA Riots and I looked up the stories in the LA Times and the Arkansas Democrat---said that Fuhrman and Lange both were involved in undercover dealings and dirty tricks. Opps! not involved in the riots themselves but in the trial of Reginald Denny. He also said that some LAPD cops actually handed out guns and drugs prior to the verdict in the King trial. The purpose was to have a riot.
He said Fuhrman had been some kind of "operative" for quite a while.
We sometimes forget when we all involved in the details that Fuhrman was sued multiple times--one time for a shooting of a guy without a weapon and a weapon was thrown down (a knife by the way) And that just before the trial started MF had a case thrown out (murder) for his taking home evidence and destroying it. The media failed to report that even though it was w/in days of the trial starting.
Or that one of the legal referral offices appeared on Rivera early on and said they had more complaints about MF than any other cop in LA and that he was considered the most rogue cop in the LAPD. And THEY said that he got people to drop their complaints by threatening to come back and kill them.
Regardless of his revisionist history that they tell on tv--MF was one bad character.
