Kari,
For whatever it’s worth, Columbia happens to be the parent company of TriStar and Touchstone who distributed Fuhrman’s TV move Murder in Greenwich.
Just bought a copy of the movie on videocassette. The quality of the video is pristine and the production values are outstanding. In the TV version of the movie you see excepts before it begins. They include an outtake of Michael washing blood off of his hands in form an underwater view that I have only seen once before (in the ’56 Sherlock Holmes/Jack the Ripper movie A Study in Terror). This prelude to the TV movie does not appear in the videocassette version.
I don’t know how Columbia got away with distributing this movie with so many deliberate distortions of crucial information and outright lies, but it did. –Jasper
