And this doesn't even go into the fact that Howard Weitzman represented the movie studio over the Fliess issue and that Tony Pelicano also represented the studio in the case.
Later, he comes out of nowhere to represent MF--for free he said--for a year over the Simpson case. Said he knew MF and was a friend, etc.
He also publicly threatened on national tv that if anyone came forward with info on MF that they would be sorry they were ever born. MF was basically allowed as a LAPD cop to also make such statements (only slightly watered down) as well on national tv.
He actually sued for the duration of the trial (and then dropped it) the tabloid that had the people on who said that they had seen MF WITH Nicole in Brentwood several times that spring.
Kari found in the Fliess tapes another cop who has a remarkable resemblance to MF who actually worked for the former Madame and ended up arrested (oddly the same month of the murders) for rapes and robberies of convenient stores. I believe his name is Brambles. He was a former "star' in the LAPD.
