I just read very recently--I think it was Petro Man's opening statement where he said that Ron put on his NEW boots.
Also, in a photo in Dr. Lee's book Famous Crimes, those boots are sitting on the edge of the table where Lee is examing a pair of BM shoes (presumably size 12's but not necessarily as he was looking at the ridges on the bottom). Those boots look TWICE the size of the BM shoes. They look enormous--almost like "clown" shoes.
I have never read where Ron had enormous feet--looks like perhaps a 14 or 16 (I have seen size 16 shoes on a friend).
Or is it possible that Ron in fact did come over earlier than we think--but not get killed then. Perhaps he brought over an "outfit" to change into and that is why only one uniform could be found and his belt and shoes could not?
Or he changed elsewhere?
I know that guys (and girls) go in for fads, etc. but those shoes were downright ugly--much uglier than an BM shoes would be.
They look like old-fashioned basketball shoes from the 40's and 50's only exaggerated. They are also similiar (perhaps moreso) to Beetle Bailey military shoes. As I said --clownish or cartoonish in looks.
I can't help but think of the guotes in Freed's book I think it was where the guys said that Nicole had guys "trying out" or doing auditions for her.
According to Kim, Ron's place was never supposed to be a Starbuck's type place but more of a restuarant type place.
I seem to recall something being said of a video existing of Faye and Nicole. I have always thought it possible that there was to be a video of Ron, Nic and Faye.
