This can be done on various Internet sites (Find a person) for a relatively small fee (under $50).
I would think though that if there was anything to find out about Kato along those lines, the press would have done it. All kinds of people came out of the woodwork with home video of him at parties, etc.
This is unlike how the press hid the Marvin Glass connection with Patty Goldman even though Scott Turow (sp) had written a nove based on his case in Chicago. And the fact that he was a former Chicago DA himself who went private and became a lawyer for drug smugglers/dealers.
