One Chronic Pain therapist I was seeing told me that for me to see another therapist is like going to two different doctors at the same time for prescriptions. It is called doctor shopping. It is not ethical if the therapist knows it. Your saying you'd see a patient knowing the patient had someone else they were seeing? Well, I know that for the Chronic Pain it isn't okay. It could lose me the meds I need to function.
