Over time, we have discussed the fact that LA is eaten up with surveillance videos--streets, stores, parking lots, etc. They were way ahead of the rest of the country. Even McDonald's drive thrus had surveillance videos.

The last person to bring this up was John Junot. And to catch you up with what we discussed--the man across the street from OJ (Sheinbaum) had his surveillance tapes (front gate) taken by the police. There were surveillance tapes around the Mezz which we never saw. Others could tell you more about that. I didn't see it first hand but heard about it second and third hand.

Any number of places (and houses in those neighborhoods) had surveillance tapes.

We wondered why none ever showed up that would show either the Browns or OJ's movements that night.

If you will recall a half dozen surveillance videos in Okla City showed the Ryder truck and/or Tim McVey. Even one where he came into a building and bought TWO cokes and a pack of cigerettes that morning (he didn't smoke). Even one where all you could see was the truck passing by the front doors. (These videos were timed) The more important ones from across the street from the bombed building never were shown.

Also in LA, I have read that back then (more now) they had about 40 traffic surveillance videos in the city.

Also, they had the airport video. All we ever saw was OJ arriving and checking his luggage but in American Tragedy, they told the airport actually had video that followed OJ all the way onto the plane.

A video from McDonald's (since OJ was driving) would have SHOWN what he was wearing when Kato and he went to eat regardless of what Kato may or may not have said in his statement.

In fact, I have read that they did have it --one reason they never really questioned their story of going. If they had it (I have no proof that they did) why did we never learn that they did (for sure) and what OJ was wearing.

After I read about that, I looked at my McDonald's and noticed that even here they have surveillance video at the drive thru window.

Many gas stations and other places have them.

Any of the new people have any info or thoughts on this.
