Lollie and Kari, I agree. They would have stood out.
People would drive 5 to 15 (55 to 70) but not more than that without really standing out. Even now with the 70 mph in Tenn.--people rarely go over 80 mph. And in Ky where it is 65--it stays around 75 or a bit higher.
Does anyone know how far South that the LA "city" would go? I tried looking on maps, etc. and it appeared to go over into Orange County but it was hard to tell.
