It was more than laziness I think.
A lot of new FIRSTS?
For the first time--EVER--the detectives didn't take notes at a homocide or any case for that matter (robbery)?
Lange didn't like her - a lot--over a previous case (murder/drugs/etc) where Clark lied about prosecuting and left a witness hanging out there where her life was in danger. She was basically a dead person without help because of Clark.
They had a "history" with Clark and it may well be that Roberts and MF had a different kind of "history" with Clark.
