One thing about the stick:
Remember Newton's second law of motion: an object in motion will continue it's motion in a straight line unless acted on my a force.
Now look at that picture of the stick and its relationship to the Bronco.
In order for that stick to have flown off the Bronco and landed where it is, the Bronco would have had to have been moving fucking SIDEWAYS at the time the stick fell of of it.
I've always thought the stick was just something that happened to be there and no no relation to the crime sequence at all or, even if it did, there was no way of extracting any information about the crime from it.
