You never know who is looking in but I doubt that O.J. or anyone close to him has ever done it. The only indication I had that any of those people ever heard of Iago was when I did a regional radio interview and one of O.J.’s lawyers mentioned my name. But she didn’t name the book, she never contacted me, she never replied to my attempts to contact her and she never mentioned my name or Iago again.
This lawyer was a friend of Dr. Johnson. He told me so in the only phone conversation I had with him. The next time I heard her name she was pushing Dr. Johnson’s idea that Juditha’s phone records would show that Nicole was alive at 11:OO. That was the end of it. I don’t even remember her name.
Charlotte? Are you still out there? Do you remember her name?
On the other side of the coin, I’ve gotten a few ugly posts attacking my intelligence, my morals or my sanity or accusing me of being paid off by O.J. For the most part, they were typical of what you see in the e-mile section of Iago. I don’t believe that any of them came from principles in the case. If Fuhrman, for example, had ever been here he wouldn’t have produced his Murder in Greenwich movie, which proves my theses in The Smoking Gun and The Smoking Gun 2.
I have gotten tons of unbelievably vicious hate e-mail – including a few veiled threats on my life. But I haven’t gotten one of those in a couple of years. In fact, I haven’t gotten ANY hate mail this year or most of last year. I do not see that as a good sign. –Jasper
