Rose,

I have had similar attacks on this site. I thought that all of the problems we used to have with the site were because of the old server and its UNIX platform. Then I installed an anti-virus program called Stop Sign and it detected and removed a LOT of hacker threats. Didn’t count them but they filled up an entire page going all the way back to 1999. My Smartfellows Press e-mail account was so infested with worms and Trojans that I had to abandon and, as you know, I have always had problems with my personal e-mail accounts – but I had these problems with my personal Ford Motor Company e-mail, too. .

Who are these guys? And why are they picking on us?

Dick Wagner’s site has the most comprehensive data on the Bundy killings available anywhere on the net (photos, diagrams-insightful analysis) and my site has the most dynamic and intelligent sharing of information through the Discussion boards. But before thinking “conspiracy” I’d like to know how many sites uninvolved in the O.J. case have had similar problems. I bet that many of them have. Right now I’m thinking that we are dealing mostly with individual snoops who just want to get into our files to look around and only a few mischief-makers who make mischief anywhere they can.

Still, it would be nice to know what is really going on. --Jasper
