Just finished Raging Heart. I couldn’t find the reference to the scissors there, either. It has to be somewhere else. The only things close where what Ron Shipp told Weller on page 246 and 247 that Nicole supposedly told him:
“Ron, I’m so scared,” she said. “One day O.J.’s going to kill me.”
And…
“What’s the way of dying you’re most afraid of? Nicole asked Ron.
“Drowning,” he replied.
As she would say to many other people over the years—very likely including her husband—Nicole now said to Ron, “Mine’s stabbing. To be killed with an knife—to me, that would be the most awful.”
This is from page 50:
“…For years, Nicole Brown Simpson said the very words that other wives of wealthy, well-connected—and obsessive—men have said before their murders: ‘He is going to me and get away with it.’ Denise Brown says, ‘Nicole said this MANY time to me: ‘O.J. will kill me and he’ll get away with it—he’ll ‘O.J.’ his way out of it.’”
Remember what Cora Fischman said about Nicole use of someone going to kill her as a figure of speech (you’re going to love this)?
Page 90 (Denise taking about a childhood adventure with Nicole in defiance of what they told their mother they were going to do):
“We were biking so fast, Nicole hit a pothole and went head over bicycle. She crashed up her whole elbow, got tar from the street all over her arm, and her bike was totally mangled.” The girls found a sympathetic trucker to haul their bikes on his flatbed and give them a lift home. “We’re like, ‘Oh, my God! They’re gonna find out we went to the ice rink! They’re gonna kill us. They’re gonna kill us!”
