Lollie,

I wish I had a good idea of where to go with this but I don’t. The pizza drippings on the floor were fascinating but I don’t know what to do with them in the context they were presented.

When I was researching the O.J. case I thought it was peculiar that the same names kept cropping up with links to the same criminal and government entities linked to illegal drugs and professional assassins. Then it occurred to me that people as well known as O.J. Simpson and James Caan, as infamous as Daryl Gates and Joey Ippolito, and as influential as Robert Evans and George Bush all have friends. They all have or have had business associates in one enterprise or another. They all have high-priced lawyers, who all have private detectives, who all have connections to lots of interesting people.

When I began to study the Monica Lewinsky case (actually it was the Fuhrman/Goldberg "French" connection that got my attention) some of the same names cropped up again. Ditto for the Martha Moxley case Then I realized what a comparatively small pool of humanity these people swam in, so they had to bump into each other now and then.

Incidentally, you’ll never guess what movie I watched repeatedly last night for connections to producer Mark Fuhrman’s Murder in Greenwich movie. It was producer Robert Evans’ Popeye. The psychic baby (Sweet Pea) and the dark-haired prostitute with the cigarette holder where particularly interesting. The French Connection movie, with Gene Hackman as Popeye Doyle, is a key element in Fuhrman’s solution to the Martha Moxley murder. –Jasper
