I will buy the book for a couple of reasons; I want fuhrman to keep writing. Eventually he will really "step on it", that's his nature. He gets a little cockier with each book. And I want to read his words for how he came to disagree with the death penalty. Remember his chapter on racism in Murder in Brentwood, ("racism is bad").
I don't think fuhrman wants to clean up his act. See where the dirty one has taken him. He knows who his friends are and what they stand for. He doesn't care about what you and I think about him. And who were his idols, clean honest cops or the ones who did what they had to do to get the job done.
