Now this is REALLY interesting, considering the fact we don’t have the deposition transcript Lou, Dominique and Tonya but we do have Denise’s.
This is what Denise told Phillip Baker about the $5,000 incident in her civil trial deposition http://simpson.walraven.org/db_depo1.html :
Q. Where did you hear about physical assault occurring from O.J. to Nicole at your parents' home?
A. It didn't happen at my parents' home. It happened at their condominium in Dana Point. Q. How did you hear about this?
A. Nicole told me. Q. What did she tell you?
A. She told me he was laying on top of her screaming, his veins bulging out of his neck, offering her $5,000 to sleep with her. Q. Did you ever tell the police about this $5,000 incident?
A. No. Q. Did you ever talk to your mom within the last 2 weeks about this $5,000 incident?
A. No. Q. Did you ever talk to Dominique about this $5,000 incident?
A. No. Charlie was right. The depositions were taken and have now disappeared from the Internet. I wander whether it was Jack Walraven’s decision not to show them or whether he ever got them. I don’t remember seeing them on the other transcript sites when they were up. It would also be good to know whether Denise’s deposition was taken before or after the rest of the family. It sounds like she made up that story on the spot. The story about Nicole telling her family of repeated cases of abuse and planning to write a book about it doesn’t ring true, either. If it was true, why didn’t it come out in the criminal trial? –Jasper
