It seems it is this way.
DNA matches but doesn't match the victim's description in ANY way--that is ok.
DNA doesn't match but the victim makes a positive ID of the person---that is ok too.
Wanting it both ways. No can do.
They either convict and or clear a person with DNA or not. Not have it any way that they want.
