A while back you talked about “the keeper of the records” in connection with the phone calls that were made to Rockingham on the 13th. Since then we have been compelled to return to that them several times.
When Pat Whetham and I were posting on the Court-TV Discussion Board and in the O.J. e-mail discussion group we were repeatedly stymied by our newness to the Internet and our inability to get information that that OJG’s (O.J.-Guilty) could access immediately. They strung together all of the evidence (and pseudo-evidence) of O.J.’ guilt and pummeled us with authoritative citations to back up their claims. As the books started coming out and we got better at negotiating the web we found many of the things we were looking for to fill the gaps in our knowledge. Until we got it, all we could do was speculate.
Repeatedly, we found that the OJG’s had this information all along – information that proved my MFG (Mark Fuhrman Guilty) scenario wasn’t as silly as they claimed it was. Where I speculated that some things about Fuhrman were true, they knew that they were true. These were not conspirators in a plot to frame O.J. Simpson. They were ordinary people like us with better access to information than we had and a cast-in-stone conviction that O.J. was guilty. Who knows how many of them are keepers of the technology?
At key points in the investigation, the keepers of the records were Mark Fuhrman (phone calls to Rockingham on the 13th), Brad Roberts (some timeline witness statements) and Denise Brown (what the kids said about Ron Goldman and Faye Resnick when they were in the Brown’s custody). After that, a lot of people got into the act simply because they thought O.J. was guilty and didn’t want to see him get away with it.
Wherever we can pin down the keepers of the records, we might already know enough to tell if the missing information fell though the cracks or got tossed in the crapper. –Jasper
