Miss Marple, Thanks for the info. I couldn't quite recall how it went in the book. I KNOW that they were lied to--or so it goes.
But none of that explains the conflicting stories of the Browns and esp. Denise having denials in the media for some time after the murders--yet allegedly accusing OJ over the phone when contacted about her death.
The story implies that they didn't believe til told of the breast slashes. There is a timeline conflict here.
