I know of several "fictional" versions of the housekeeper from hell. Rebecca (movie and book) for one.
She could have been very nice and preferencial to OJ and about his kids but treated Nicole badly...I don't mean beat up on her--but she might "override" any orders by Nicole or just do as she pleased when it came to doing stuff for Nicole.
Now, I am not saying that Nicole was a saint--not by any means. But I can see where a "maid" who has the run of the place, feels like it is her own, that OJ "belongs" to her in a certain way---whould make life very very difficult for the wife.
If the cops hadn't latched onto OJ from the first second--MIchelle would have been the prime suspect--at least for investigation--as the disgruntled fired employee. Just like Ron Shipp would have been as the disgruntled friend/employee who had been barred from the estate about the same time Michelle is banned from it.
