Kari,

The charts WERE misleading. The lines and propitiations were wrong and the labels weren’t always where they should have been. There was more than one “maid’s room and more than one “office” depending on what you were talking about and when.

Kato did testify that Gigi sometimes stayed in the guesthouse on the end but I couldn’t use it with John who dismisses Kato as a liar and is determined to prove that he is the killer. I haven’t been able to find that information about Michelle in the transcripts although I got it from several sources during the criminal trial that are no longer available. It’s not that I have any doubts about it; I worked directly from those sources to get a clearer picture of what happened before I wrote Iago. It’s just that I believed at the time that it would be as easy to find again if I needed it. I need it now to rebut charges that it isn’t true. I didn’t anticipate that I would have to because I didn’t anticipate that I would write the book.

The proof that O.J. is innocent is in his blood drops at Rockingham. It’s in his cut finger in Chicago that wasn’t big enough for anyone but him to notice before he left for Chicago. It’s in the position of his Bronco, which confirms that the Bronco did not move since the time he drove it through the compound from Ashford to Bundy. The proof of O.J.’s innocence is in the real timeline of the murders, the phone records of Denise Pilnak combined with the testimony Robert Heidstra and Steven Schwab. The proof is in the phone records of Allan Park and the combined testimony of Park and Kato Kaelin about when and where they first saw each other and O.J. on Rockingham after the murders.

The proof does him no good because some of his supporters are convinced that all of the blood on Bundy AND Rockingham was planted. Some are convinced that the Bronco did move before it was photographed.. Some are convinced that the murders occurred on the long timeline that would have allowed him to leave the evidence against him whether or not they believe he left it all of it. The proof of O.J.’s innocence does him no good because they are convinced that Kato, Schwab or both are liars. They can’t agree on what constitutes proof. And these are O.J.’s supporters. –Jasper
