During this trial I was still teaching and had the use of a vcr and then watched what was left of the live when I got home. Would catch up on the taped stuff over the weekend. I have a great deal of the trial on tape but not all of it. Also, several networks were covering it and at the time, we didn't get court tv after 6pm in the evening.

Also, after I retired (96) I spent a lot of time going back over it with Bill Shreck and Chris Springer. I read a lot of transcripts and depos from the civil trial. I had the problem of not being able to access it all because of having just a webtv.

Having said all that, I think I did pretty good since I also read most of the books and watched a lot of Geraldo and other shows.

A lot of what we all saw and heard can't be proven because we don't have a tape of it. And a lot of the depos didn't stay long on the net.

I can especially remember having read Arnelle's depo and finding where they asked her about Nicole riding a bike. And then asking her if she knew where the bike was now. This from the Brown's lawyers. Shortly after I read this and posted it on the Net and people were going to go look for it, Arnelle's depo got yanked from the sites. Several of the depos never appeared on the sites at all so we have no idea what they said.

Many of the sites who did carry the depos and transcripts were sites where the owner believed OJ was guilty.

I even believe that some of the testimony and the depos were tampered with. I came across that a few times...what one version said was left off another.

And as we know, the civil trial wasn't televised and the media controlled what they thought was important.

For us to go back now and demand that something is not true unless we can now find the documentation for it is like burying your head in the sand.

What me have to settle for is if several people recall the event or testimony or seeing the video. Or recall discussing it in the past when the documentation was there.

For example, I haven't been able to find again the hearing testimony about Nicole's Jeep being moved. I was reading the transcript straight through when I found it. At the time, I shared it with Chris Springer but I didn't and still don't have a copier with the webtv. That doesn't mean it isn't there or that it didn't happen. I haven't the time that I once had to read the trascript straight through.

And info that we know changes. It was YEARS before we knew about the murder case that Fuhrman was involved in (May) that was thrown out of court just the week before the OJ trial due to Fuhrman's tampering with evidence that he took home with him.

It was YEARS before we learned the story of Marvin Glass and his mob connections...and how that caused the Goldman's to move to CA.

Then when you try to go back and find news stories from the in real time--you can't find them.

I can't prove that there was an AP wire story that I saw in the Arizona newspaper that said that Nicole had bite marks on her back either, but I saw it. It was written by one of the famous OJ writers whose name escapes me --and had the actual names of people from the coroner's office who confirmed them. It said the defense was sending off photos to a forensic dentist to see if any info could be learned from them.

And think about it--if not for Freed and Bosco there would a whole lot more we wouldn't know either--like the existence of that ring found under Ron which was never adaquately ID'd as his own in the trial. It got a pass as I think Mr. Goldman ID'd it.

We would have never learned of two sets of keys associated with Ron without the depo of Goldman.

I could go on but won't.

My point is that at this point in time, it won't be possible to document every single thing six ways to Sunday--because the stuff is just not there.

So, unless someone taped every second of the trial, copied ALL the depos before they were jerked off the Net or had access to the ones who never were on the Net... we are stuck with having a couple of people confirm having seen it at some point.

That isn't the best, I know but that is what we have.
