Charlie,
When you read the books and the testimonies, how many people walked through that foyer, in and out? First Arnelle, Lange and Phillips, going in. (fuhrman was examining Kaelin, Vanatter was at the other end of the swimming pool, detecting). Then fuhrman went out through the foyer to examen the thumps. Arnelle went out to her car, escorted by Phillips, to collect her day planner from her car and returned in through the open door. And then Phillips, who had a little thinking to do went to stand in the driveway, and when fuhrman came back from "finding" the glove Phillips viewed it and then went back in through the front door to get Vanatter to do the same. So Vanatter also went out through the foyer. Phillips went back in and then Vanatter came back from viewing the glove and got Lange to do the same, (depending of what testimony you want to believe).
Then Cowlings arrives through the front door, he and Arnelle leave through the front door to go pick up the children. They return with the two children, entering through the front door and through the foyer.
Who knows how many times Vanatter went out for a Marlboro or someone went outside just to let off some adrenaline, but this is now when they supposedly discovered the drops of something on the foyer floor.
I just have a hard time believing that when Kaelin was warned by fuhrman to watch out for the blood drops they had actually stayed "tiny little drops" and not trampled by all that foot traffic.
