Miss Marple, Thank you! Someone else though actually said that they were ketchup or taco sauce in the testimony.
I agree about using the ketchup as probable cause. I thought about it then --esp. after hearing that Fuhrman bragged of using it in the McKinney tapes.
The "actual" blood drops were extremely tiny. They were little better than the head of a pin. I also remember that Fung found more of them than were attested to by Fung...in a slightly different spot but fairly close to the others.
One thing I have always wondered about is if that hallway was waxed by the maid. If so, I doubt the blood drops would have penetrated the actual wood as they appear to have been in OJ"s video. OJ"s video was done more than a year after the murders...way more than a year.
And those blood drops would NOT have been anything that anybody would have to worry about walking in as seemed to be the "warning" the cops were giving out. However, spats of ketchup may well be something that they didn't want to be walked thru.
