Kari and John, I am not saying that the dark pegs do not exist. What I am saying is that on Monday the 13th, they tested an alleged blood trail to the kitchen that turned out to be taco sauce or ketchup.
It is NOT in the OJ interview tape. It is in the tape in the trial where the socks did not show up up the bedroom at the proper time.
Someone (either the guy who made the tape or Fung) was describing what was going on thru out the tape and it was during this time that he was asked what the men were doing on the floor. He said that what was first believed to be a blood trail to the kitchen turned out to be ketchup or taco sauce. Andrea Mazzola was also there in the foyer as well.
Sorry if there was any confusion about this. I do believe I have seen the way that wooden floor was put down and the pegs seem to be what I recall as well. The "real" blood drops were very tiny.
I brought this up because it seemed to me that the ketchup/taco sauce trail might be what Kato was told to avoid. The "real" blood drops were barely visible.
