The real killer of the Bordens has been found. I wish I could remember the name of the book that lays it out but can't. But no one seems to care, too much fun to keep blaming Lizza. She was not completely innocent and was certainly involved after the fact and hid her knowledge of who the murderer was in order to keep the fact that the father had made a new will from coming out and she and her sister being penniless.

You have to put yourself in that era to understand that most people did not travel 20 or 30 miles and few knew the people in the next town.

In the next town was a man that was Mr. Borden's illigitimate son. He was the murderer. The author of the book finally put it together because a witness finally talked. She told her son in law what she had seen and described the murderer. The son in law being from the next town knew the murderer.

Along with this information, papers where found in the house of the deceased prosecutor.

This case was covered up because of political fears of what would come out about them if the truth where known.

So it really took two regular people, one who saw something and one who could interperate what she saw, and one researcher, kinda like us, to put it together.
