Also you have habit involved. Arnell would not have used that door if she thought that the alarm might be on and door locked. She could not reach the lock, so it would be her habit to go in and out the front door where she was tall enought to easily do the lock and where she could see if the alarm was on or off. And turn it off easily. Every one who has an alarm, just turns it off the easiest way. And will use that door.
