Rubin claimed that the stitch could ONLY have been made by an older machine (Broziar or something like that). He screwed up when he named THE company that used THAT machine. O.J.’s lawyer nailed him with the fact that there were other machines like that one in other places. But the killer was, a new machine could produce an identical stitch and lots of those machines were in use before the murders.
Miss Marple gave the bottom line. They could have come from anywhere. --Jasper
