Traditionally, the date rape drug is an Animal Tranquilizer. It wasn't used much on humans as the half life is very short. Not as short as say Verised which is used as a tranquilizer for short procedures, but not long enough and too much of a hypnotic for anxiety. Also short term memory loss is incredibly bad. It can take a person months of reliving the lost time until they get it back which means seeing what happens to her for weeks as the memory comes through, first distorted and then real memory form. I studied drugs and their interactions since I have to take so many. Why some are used short term and others long term. Why the date rape drug went into animal catagory use only. The entire use of this drug began when two high school kids, one whose father was a vet. They stole the drug and used it on a few girls. They got away with it for months until the first girls memory's finally recovered. Most people don't like missing time and work to figure out what went missing. Some girls once they learned it was the Date Rape Drug didn't keep trying to remember.
