The point is that even if the ring and jewelry did legally belong to him at this point--(I think a judge has said he can't sell the house, etc. for his defense as it is partially Laci's and she is a murder victim --of which HE is charged)---nothing can be tackier than to take that jewelry and rework it into something different. The woman isn't even buried. The world hasn't known for sure she was dead til a few weeks ago (perhaps others knew but we didn't). Yet he has time between planning for fighting for his life to have his parents take HER jewelry and have it reworked? What's the rush?
Does he have plans on giving to some already found new woman?
I don't know about your family but in my family, a deceased person's family would have first dibs on the PERSONAL property of jewelry passed down thru the family.
I STILL think it was Jackie's live remarks on Greta the other night saying there was nothing LEFT of Laci in that house that spurred Laci's Mom into going into the house.
AS I said, legally speaking is different than decently speaking. If Scott wanted to be DECENT about things--he would have opened that house to Laci's parents.
