The facts I provided about Candace and Steve Garvey's history that goes back to the 1980's is because Christian Reichardt said that Candace came to his office at the time of the trial and told him the prosecutors were putting so much pressure on her it was making her sick. They wanted for her to embellish her testimony about her benign encounter with O.J. @ the dance recital and if she did not (a threat was made) that she could expect the outcome will effect her own family meaning Steve Garvey's scandalous past would come out worldwide... getting three single women pregnant while Candace was dating him. And wouldn't Candace look the fool that she married him anyway.
Reichardt said that Candace was very destraught about what could happen in her own life if she did not testify accordingly. If you noticed she testified that her husband walked away while she was talking to O.J. about the new baby. Steve Garvey had to feel the jerk that he is and knew people were appalled at him fathering even more children in 1994. Steve Garvey did not walk away because O.J. was acting strange, if that was the case he would stay with his wife & walk away with her. Garvey walked away because he felt so uncomfortable about his impregnating multiple women. (Steve Garvey makes O.J. look like a saint.) I am sure Garvey was a joke in the circles O.J. socialized in. My gut is that the uncomfortable conversation had to do with Steve Garvey and his impregnating-multiple- women-at-the-same-time habits.
