1) He was attending a Presbyterian church. Definately not a Unitarian church. Big difference.
2) He definately DID believe in an afterlife and was NOT afraid to die. It was his heart of hearts belief that to live was to live to glorify his Lord, and his Savior, Jesus Christ. To die was gain; to be immediately in the presence of God.
3) He admired you greatly as well as your mind.
It is a profound truism indeed, that you either believe, or you do not.
