Park cut it even shorter than that in the Preliminary hearing.
Question by Clark: Q Can you tell us how much time passed between the time you saw the person in dark clothing, six foot, 200 pounds, go into the house and the defendant come out of the house? A Five minutes or so. At the most five minutes.
And he goes on to say that O.J. overheard Park and Kaelin talking about an earthquake as he joined them with his "Gucci bag" in tow and asking "did we have an earthquake? So this must have been when they went into the house looking for a flashlight. According to Kaelin's testimony (prelim) they went into the house, O.J. looked at a time piece and said "is it that late" or something like that, and then the "gotta go". All adds up to much to little action to make the departure for LAX at 11.15. Would they be standing around the driveway chatting for the next 10 minutes. O.J. was already late. I know Park said they left at 11.15, but it doesn't make sence.
Kaelin said that with Park there he felt safe enough to venture behind the garage again, which must mean that he had not yet seen O.J., only Park.
It's perfectly normal to mix up the sequence in which events occure, and these two guys were rather unfocused to begin with. Clark just picked from what they said what fitted her scenario.
