When I want to know what someone is referring to I go back to the original post and read the entire thing. Taken in context, I could have been referring only to one thing.
Both murder suspects (Fuhrman and Kato) would have wanted to leave shoeprints to frame O.J. But where is your evidence that O.J. ever owned those shoes? All I saw was speculation that someone might have given them to him as a gift (thus the relevance of Jean’s post).
Fuhrman’s cursory look at Kato’s shoes was not a part of the search. That came after Fuhrman found the glove. The detectives were looking for ANY place that O.J. might have hidden the shoes, the knife and the clothes. They searched every street, alley and garbage can from Bundy to Rockingham. They searched the Rockingham grounds and the house. The bungalows were attached to the house.
Your calculation of the time Kato was on the phone with Rachel (leaves Rockingham at 10:05 or 10:10 gets back between 10:20 and 10:30) is fatally flawed... From your website:

Page 98-99:
“Kato then called Rachel back…talked to her until about 1:30 [a.m.]…”
So, Kato commits two bloody murders and proceeds to have a nice phone chat with Rachel. SHE ASKS HIM what time it is and he gives her a phony answer for a false timeline. He makes up a story about thumps to give him an excuse to plant the glove after the limo driver has arrived and jokes that if he isn’t back in 10 minutes to call the cops.
Why was Rachel worried while waiting for Kato to call back? Because she waited longer than ten minutes. She couldn’t have known that, if she didn’t have a way to gauge the time. Where were Kato’s bloody shoes, clothes and knife from 10:30 to 1:30? After telling O.J. his thump story, how could he know that O.J. wouldn’t call the police right then? With Fuhrman it didn’t matter because the murder investigation wouldn’t start until he got to Bundy and he told his boss not to call him until after 1:00.
My remark about probabilities had only to do with a choice between two suspects on one narrowly defined issue, a suspect with shoes that fit the size of the killer’s shoeprints (no sweat with no search of his home) and the other guy. If the other guy didn’t have unusually big feet (or add an inch or two of padding in the right places) AND walk with a longer stride, Occam’s razor says that it was probably the first guy. You don’t send people to prison on one probability. You have to have more and all of it has to fit. You get it with Fuhrman, not Kato.
According to your understanding of Occam’s razor, the original Ford Taurus must have been designed by one person. That’s the simplest explanation. --Jasper
