Professional debunkers are so afraid it is true. They are trying to prove to themselves more than anybody. If it is true then they have to throw out all that they have based their lives on. It takes a great man to say, I was wrong. Most people just are not capable of it. Finding you were wrong and admitting it means you are growing in wisdom. Now I am talking about Sagan here and no one else. He certainly made a great contribution.Too bad he did not leave it be and stand on its own.
