Juicemobiles
Did you know about this 1975 comic book ad by Spot-Bilt featuring O.J. Simpson shoes? Gotta wonder if one of those comic books was Batman. And how about these ads for Juicemobiles? Note the Juicemobile tread shown in the first ad, the kind of ad you would see in a magazine. This particular ad appeared in a 1976 issue of Boy's Life. Note the thumbs of the boys pointing to O.J. and the "SHOW THEM YOUR HEELS" below O.J.'s picture and signature in the second ad -- the one that looks like it was designed for a comic book. In Murder in Brentwood, Mark Fuhrman's caption below his second pointing finger photo says, "A closeup of the same glove and the black knit cap (note the distinctive heel impression in foreground)." In the 1960s and '70s, a common slang term for legs and feet was "wheels." Look at the red bat hubcaps on the Batmobile wheels and think about the treads on the tires.
Now look at this screenshot from the Batman introductory sequence. See anything interesting?
