We have talked about this enough that you know I agree with you 100 percent on every point you made, every paragraph and every sentence.
I will take a shot at Clinton here that you didn’t take. Clinton knew that Ben Laden was responsible for our embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania where “merely” hundreds of civilians were murdered. He got his top military advisors together to go after him and his organization with Army Rangers. He new where they were and the Pentagon knew that the Rangers could take them out (they are VERY good at what they do). But Clinton pulled back when he saw how the MILITARY casualties were likely to be.
Good grief. That’s bass acwards. Soldiers are supposed to kill and die if necessary FOR civilians. If that is not the mindset of every soldier, sailor, airman and marine, they are wearing the wring uniforms.
Bad things sometimes happen to soldiers. It’s in the jog description. Many soldiers die in TRAINING ACCIDENTS every year because the job is inherently dangerous. I am as sorry as anyone to see our military personnel killed or maimed but I thank God that is now happening while they are doing what they were trained to do – not just in the defense of the United States or any regime overseas – but in the defense of civilization. –Jasper
