For instance: I am a Democrat so therefore, I want to see all the really bad things directed at the Republicans. In reality the people stirring the stick on me may actually be Independants.
Therefore, a Republican sends me some article I just cannot abide and I feel I must tell them where to insert such document in an unorthodox manner. Now the fight is on.
So, what did that accomplish. What I needed to do is read the article and evaluate it in a serious manner and give a thoughtful reply. If I find the article to be offensive I might say what was offensive to me, and/or give my reasons to offset the offense. Perhaps the sender did not intend to offend me, but unwittingly wanted me to see their viewpoint and what I might have observed is something in that article to shock me into the center. Now I have a dilema. To believe or not to believe, but I am viewing this with my own eyes. If I do not wish to view that offensive document, I delete it. Then I may or may not respond. It is called FREEDOM, freedom to choose. Freedom to read. Freedom NOT to read. I certainly do not have to agree.
But, you know.... that is a two way street. By the same token the other individual needs to know that I feel they are out of bounds; or earth to mars; or come home chicken to roost. Now I gotta get involved and do a little work.
Life is never simple enough, is it?!
Sometimes we just read the wrong stuff or interpret it to be offensive when it probably isn't.
Then again. I was highly offended at reading the article when the muslim so called female chaplin tells the prisoners that she is not an American, but only squatting here. Breathing our air, sucking up our feedom. Taking advantage of the people who are bending over to help her. I give her an F and an S. Freaking stupid. Send her home for treason. Just get her the hell out of America, I don't care.
Then again. I was highly offended at reading the article where Hitler gave the Poles the right to kill children of the jews. So the evil greedy money grubbing freaks gathered the children, tied their legs together with a rope, took them to the fire of hot coals, forked them with a pitchfork and threw their dying little bodies into the hot coals to burn alive.
Aren't you offended? We have the same mentality in the people of the Taliban and Northern Alliance. This is EVIL and they are EVIL DOERS. How do you fight EVIL? You don't walk up to them and say let me help you trust me. They will EAT you alive. You take back the land for the proper people and you put people in power that is going to rule the land in a humane manner.
And, I don't care if it is Democrat, Independant or Republican trying to help the innocents. We are all in this world together, or.....NOT.
You can always ask the people who dwelled in the WTC or the victims of the Anthrax poisoning. Oh, I forgot. They are DEAD Americans.
