The scariest thing I've seen since 9-11 is Not video of Bin Laden.
It was a C-Span broadcast from the Press Club where American Muslims, Black Panthers, and Black Muslims and the "hate" speech that went on for hours. It was done live but I understand it will be replayed at some time. I have not seen it all but have seen and heard bits and pieces on the radio and television.
The Black Panther leader stood up for Bin Laden and aliegned himself with the oppressed of the world--Castro, Mao, Ho Che Min and others.
He and the American Muslim went through the America is Bad and the Anti-American speech. They also said "Bush did it" and they said the "Jews did it'.
It was the most hatefilled speeches I have heard in a long long time.
It was the most UNAmerican thing I have heard in a long long time.
It put some of the stuff heard from Aryian Nations and others to shame.
The audience cheered --just like the Arabs did when they learned the Towers came down.
It was extremely scarey. Just a couple months after the attack, these folks (and others in their group) are going around having meetings (quite openly as this was the Press Club and was televised over C-Span) stirring up HATE and support of Bin Laden.
Not that everybody should be in lock step with the government and agree with everything but this seems to me to be just as dangerous or more so than anything we saw during the Viet Nam war.
I can guarantee to you that if a white person or any other person other than a Muslim said anything close to this, they would be soundly criticized and in some cases would result in arrests if directed at THEM.
It was some of the most hatefilled RACIST talk I have ever heard.
The top guy from the Black Panthers said that they didn't blame Bin Laden. They blame Bush. They said since Bush got into office the whole world has gone awry. Said since Bush got into office, nobody can sleep at night. ANd it went on and on and on.
They aligned themselves as I said with Bin Ladin, Mao, Castro, HO Chi Min and others as if they were the mistreated of the world.
As I said, this was extremely scary. As they Laughed over the anthrax, I wondered to myself if they wouldn't be doing some threats and violence of their own.
And they also blamed Bill Clinton. Why? Because according to them, he continually bombed innocent people the whole time he was in office. He conducted Racist wars against Iraq, Sudan, Samolia, etc.
Oh, I forgot. He listed the Alatola (sp) of Iran as amongst those oppressed people that he was "witnessing for".
Also the Number Terrorists in the face of the Earth today is the United States of America and Israel. A direct quote.
