In general, once again, I agree with you.
I have a bit of a different "take" on the Israeli situation than you but not much. I haven't forgotten the Liberty (we're of a similiar age) but I also haven't forgotten that the day After the UN set up Israel and set aside an area for a separate state of Palestine, Egypt, Jordan and Syria swooped in and claimed with troops marching towards Israel to take that back as well--which led to the war with Israel which the Israeli's won.
I don't forget that Sudat didn't want the Palestian people Either and said so publicly.
I have a bit of sympathy for people trying to live next door to folks who have vowed to wipe every man, woman and child of you off the face of the earth.
And if you haven't noticed that is Bin Laden and others' theme and mantra as well.
We have let this go for so long that many of these separate groups are linked up together now.
I agree that they ALL have to be targeted and they can't be picking and chosing in this conflict. If this isn't stopped now, the WORLD (not just the US) will be plagued with dealing with terrorists til the end of time.
