I heard a couple of experts yesterday. One is a security expert (Thomas Preston from here ==Preston Global Security) and the other an expert on Arab affairs--Daniel Pipes. I heard others but these two stuck out because they were so calm and reasonable and knowledgeable and could give FACTS.
They (and others), like Jasper, mark the beginning of this war in 79 in Iran. Pipes in particular says that there have been many 'terrorist" attacks in the US during that time but never got labled as such at the time until later investigation proved them to be and by then the media didn't pick it up
Both state--empathically--that since 79, Arabs have come to this country as sleepers. They have even become naturalized citizens to take advantage of our "civil rights" and our laws and courts for their activities. Evidently, nobody has stopped them from fund-raising for the terrorists. Or recruiting and getting people to send their kids over to be trained in the terrorist camps.
Both say it is not JUST a matter of a certain group of "cells" here but more--much more.
Both say this is going to pose a BIG problem because we don't want to smear every Arab-American with this taint, there are IN FACT some here to Infiltrate into our Army, our government, our colleges, our law enforcement, etc.
Both say the sooner we recognize that we are in a "war" not with just terrorists but with the Militant Islam the better for us. If we don't, we will get harmed greatly.
And that they have "used" our Freedoms, our laws, our courts AGAINST us. Used our Lax immigration and lax INS against us.
The guy who attacked the bus driver and got himself and 9 others killed on the bus in Tenn. the other day was an Illegal who had roamed the USA unchallenged and undocumented since 1999.
Prior to 911, many states (Tenn. for one) were giving driver's licenses to illegals without ANY documentation as to who they really were. And as you know, for the most part a valid driver's license is all that is required to get on a plane in the "friendly skies" of the USA.
Illegals from all over the USA came to Tenn. and got driver's licenses. They not only didn't have to have documentation, they didn't have to speak or read English (road signs).
They told of how the illegal Arabs would register to vote illegally, establish an ID, get a Social Security card (I had to have a birth certificate when I got mine years ago).
My 82 year old mother who was born and raised in this country and was married to a D-Day Vet has "misplaced" her driver's license (hopefully somewhere here in the house). But until we find it or she gets it replaced (she just uses it for ID) she couldn't get on one of those planes but one of these illegals here to do this country harm can.
What's wrong with this picture?
