And from our list above (even if we leave out TWA 800 and Ron Brown's crash as ify) is more than enough for us to take action against these people who have an agenda to kill Americans (and Jews) and ALL westerners and to destroy the "symbols" of the west. It has been shown that in the past the Effle Tower, The Space Needle and other important landmarks in the WEST. They have also threatened and vowed to destroy the Egyptian Pyramids and the Spinx.
They have also blown up buses filled with Germans and others at tourist spots. THEY have done these things.
WE have only sat back and short of a few missles lobbed basically at empty innocent buildings in the middle of the night and blown huge holes in an empty desert and built memorials and felt our pain and said Let's move on---we have done NOTHING.
And in doing nothing "our enemy" upped the stakes. They escalated the targets and aimed for more and more innocent lives. We arrested a few and convicted a few but refused to give them the death penalty regardless of how many people they killed or how many people that they INTENDED to kill. THe TARGET number of people at the WTC was 50,000 people.
THe Terror Years as I call them went basically unresponded to and perhaps even the fierce danger hidden from us.
If ALL of those cases were in fact terrorist acts, we have about 10,000 casualties.
As scarey as taking this task on, it Must be done. We may have as many as a 1000 terrorists roaming our country (as the latest reports give) still plotting and planning to kill mass numbers of people.
During the 8 years that we did nothing, their organization grew into the millions.
