The reason that they were able to pull this off is that they were depending on profilling instead of security. It was cheaper to profile. When this first happened people were calling for stonger door on the cockpit. Then we got a barage of airline people saying that we could not do that because it would decompress the plane. That is till someone pointed out that the ISrealis had been doing it for years. It may have been Arabs who did the dead but it was the market place and the elite who allowed themto do it. And this is something that need a bt mre attention. I actually heard an airline guy say if they put an extra $3 charge on a ticket then people would not fly or not fly on that plane. He was OK when the congressman pointed out that they could call it a tax. Where are peoples minds that should know better. Where are the people who are concerned about 1 persons life, instead of the bottom dollar. It is kinda like those car gas tanks that the big wigs calculated that it was cheaper to pay a few law suits for poeple who were killed than fix the tanks.
