I failed to complete my first thought. :-(
What the peace demonstrators don't realize as they demonstrate before one shot is fired or the funerals complete is that the war has already started.
We have about 7,000 casualties already--more than any single act of war in our nation's history. About as many as were killed in an entire year of Viet Nam. Twice as many and more than Pearl Harbor. More than D Day of WW11.
And we have the casualties of the USS Cole, Kobar Towers, the Embassys and more. More than likely TWA 800, EgyptAir and perhaps SwissAir. And don't forget --even PanAm 103. And the first WTC bombing and if my suspicions pan out the deaths of the Okla City Bombing can be laid partly at their feet. (Nichols met with the terrorists in the Phillipines prior to the bombing).
And although we CAN"T get distracted with it now, there is a time and place coming for an investigation and Prosecution of those who kept the Scope of the attacks away from us for their own agendas.
