This seems to be a routine funding law. It sounds worse than it is. It has been used in the past for riots and huricane Andrew for looters. I think the date is just a coincidence.
Nothing like that is going on in the state. If it was my kids that work for Feds or State would have forbidden me go out of the house so I would not get arrested for protesting or something.
I am concerned about the Fed law they are attempting to pass. It will alow evidence in court no matter how gotten. Now that is scary.
