In 1989 when the big Earthquake hit the Bay Area it was Barbara Lee's constituients who climbed the collapsed freeway structure and freed whomever could be freed. They went against the Fireman and Police telling them how unsafe the structure was and went ahead and saved people but they are also people who don't believe in a response to this sort of attack to be to send a bunch of military to kill more people. There are people in this Country who want to take a step back and breath. Waiting does little harm, sending people off to War where the terrain is so hazordous and brought down the USSR from the cost is foolhardy. Lets be calm and understand that Representative Lee was doing what the people who voted for her asked her to do, That is who she answers to. Californians were the first rescue people to arrive in New York and try to get the trapped firefighters out even though it was not the ending that was achieved. They left on Tuesday from Travis Air Force Base and went directly to Ground Zero. Some people from that area represented by Barbara Lee were among them. Her vote was the same when they voted to send missles to Afghanistan after the Embassy bombings. Bottom line, Barbara Lee can only be removed from her position as Representative of that area by those who elected her or if she commits a criminal act that causes Impeachment proceedings. She a woman of courage who did what she felt was right. I'd hope that all women in this Country knew how to show such courage in the face of so much anger. I don't understand why diverse opinions are being so angrily argued when clearly we are all free thinkers and have a history of respecting each other for this asset.
