Both George Steponalofus and FBI agent Kalstrom (lead the investigation that declared mechanical failure) have referred to TWA 800 as a BOMBING in the last week. Efforts by reporters to contact them to question them have proven fruitless.
Both referred to TWA 800 in relationship with talking about Terror Attacks. GS talked of the White HOuse personel being in an underground bunker after the TWA 800 bombing. The FBI agent was talking in general about terror attacks against our country.
I would be willing to bet that this was kept quiet and would also bet that the EgyptAIr flight with the suicide pilot was another such terror attack that we didn't learn of.
How many more?
I ask. Just how many of these attacks are we to ignore? How many must die before it is an "act of war" to some.
My dear 82 year old Mom (today is her birthday) heard such talk today and scoffed that if we let this go, it will just encourage them to do it bigger and better next time.
Just how many lives must be lost before we say it was an act of war? About 7,000 is not enough? If that building had been full we might have had 70,000 deaths.
Seven thousand deaths for people from 62 countries.
That is more than enough for me. charlie
