Jasper, Exactly. I agree whole-heartedly and have been completely offended with talk like this. I even saw some say they secretly cheered for the terrorists (seems that they think the USA is actually the bad guy here). And are glad that Barbara Olson is dead because they didn't agree with them politically.
Even George Mitchell who is known to see both sides of the issue said last night on tv that NO grievance gives a group free reign to deliberately kill innocent civilian lives. No cause is license to do that. This action goes way over the top even for some of the Arab supporters.
It has been the USA treating these terrorist attacks over the years as isolated incidents and just "criminal acts". When in fact, it has been a concentrated and detailed war against us using terror tactics.
Not treating it as a war against us allowed all these people coming without background checks into our country.
All these people on these work visas and student visas from these countries need close scrutiny and to be sent back out of the country. That is if they don't check out.
Those who are determined to be a threat or a security risk need to go. This is a war and it is a war where the ordinary man on the street is the Soldier not a uniformed man. The soldier is a man who will die killing as many innocent civilians as he can while dying himself.
This is not the ordinary war.
We are NOT going to sway a person like this with reasoned conversation or a let's all hold hands and sing.
